Library Services

Holborn College has an excellent two-level library, supporting all areas of learning and specialising in the latest law and business texts. The collection includes over 10,000 volumes and other reference resources, and numerous law and business online databases. Additionally, we have an extensive journal collection in full text as well as access to online journals via Athens (an online journal and information database for higher education subscribers). Together, these reference sources provide ample information for case study projects, assignments and research work.

The library space also contains computers with internet access, photocopiers, and private and group study spaces. Our library connection is currently being fully networked, allowing students to check publications online and book renewals can also be made by telephone. The library is run by a fully qualified librarian, and library staff are always happy to help students. On arrival at the College, a library facilities introductory session is available during induction week, and thereafter on request.

Monday - Friday: 9am - 8.30pm
Saturday: 10am - 5pm

Student Mentors

A particularly popular option with our new students, the Student Mentor Scheme has been developed by our Student Services team to help international students settle down quickly. Student Mentors are assigned to each new student on request, and they show new arrivals around the College and the local area, and offer invaluable advice and assistance.

The Student Body

Holborn College recognizes the importance of communicating efficiently with the student body. There are student representatives present during all Faculty Board meetings and we also have student representatives for each programme, one for each year. Additionally, Holborn College holds regular Questions and Answer sessions where all students are welcome to attend and raise any issues and ideas they may have.
