Aim
This programme aims to provide a sound basis in legal principles, whilst allowing students to familiarise themselves with a variety of international legal systems. This is particularly useful for those students who may want to practice law, or pursue other related careers, in their home countries.

The University of Wales LLB (Hons) Law is a unique course, designed by the University of Wales, which provides students with the opportunity to study the legal system in ways that are particularly relevant to their home country. It reflects the College's international student body and its experience in catering for this particular student clientele. It is designed to provide students with the opportunity to expand their breadth of knowledge through a study of international legal systems, developing their ability to evaluate and compare different jurisdictions.

Programme Outline
On the standard programme students are expected to study four compulsory modules in the first two years. The final consist of one compulsory and three optional modules.
Options include - Law and Governance in Africa, Principles of Bangladeshi Law, Introduction to Islamic Law, American Legal System and Principles of Sri Lankan Law. Please refer to the latest prospectus for a complete list.
Assessment
Assessment is through a combination of examination and coursework.
