Aim
This degree prepares students for the professional stage of becoming a solicitor or barrister. It is also a highly recognised qualification in itself
“Although you will study at Holborn College, this is an External programme so you will take your exams at a university location and deal directly with the University of London on some matters. You will also have to complete all four modules each year by examination (there is no coursework).” Nina Mitreska (Programme Leader)
Awarding Institution/University

The University of London was the first university to offer the prestigious English Law Degree (the LLB) in the 1890s. This is a traditional style English Law Degree of international standing. All the core legal subjects are covered, plus a range of options in years 2 and 3. By statute of the University of London, the standard is the same irrespective of place or mode of study. As such, this programme requires good time management skills and is a good choice for the student who is extremely self-motivated and confident in exams.
A two year graduate entry route is possible to fast-track students who hold a previous undergraduate degree. Students attend a full-time course at Holborn College but examinations are set and held at the University of London.
