University of London (June 2008)

Holborn College is seeking to work closely with the University of London.

Starting from October 2008 enrolment, students wishing to study the UoL LLB or BSc will no longer have to register and pay UoL separately. Upon payment of full fees, the College will undertake the registration with the University on the student's behalf.

Holborn College is now able to offer a comprehensive registration and tuition support package for academic year 2008/9.

Successful OFSTED inspection

We have just finished the OFSTED inspection and can report that the College has obtained an overall judgment of "Good", with an "Outstanding" under the category of 'Enjoying and Achieving'. Many thanks to everyone involved in the inspection.

Outstanding academic achievement by Holborn students

We are delighted to announce that at the University of London graduation ceremony on 10 March 2008, three of our students - James Bolton, Angela Blackman and Kelly Sporn - received prizes for obtaining the best academic achievements. Congratulations to all three.

Strong attendance and amazing atmosphere at Peace Jam Concert

Ten female students were up on stage singing to a live band and the applause and joining in by the rest of the audience was a joy to watch.

Director of Kaplan International Nigeria Office visits the College

Mary Agbu, Director of Kaplan International Nigeria Office, visited the College on Friday 7 March. She spent time chatting with Nigerian students and took a tour of the college, both with the aim of promoting Holborn more effectively in Nigeria.

Academic Services have new longer opening hours

Opening hours: 9am -12am and 1pm – 5pm.

Business Studies Exam Board a resounding success

The External Examiners commended staff for their efforts on the MBA research and dissertation programme. For the first time in the 40 year history of Holborn College 17 MBAs, including two distinctions, were awarded.
