UCAS Clearing 2013

If you find yourself without a University place after 15 August 2013 you will be able to look for places available at institutions in the UK via UCAS Clearing.

If you visit the UCAS website during this time it will have a list of all of the courses and institutions that are not yet full, and you can approach them one by one to find out whether they will accept you with the grades you have.

Although you can speak to many universities at once, you can only apply formally to one University at a time using your UCAS Track account. This means that you need to assess all of your options before then applying formally via your UCAS Track account to the institution of your choice.

The Clearing process may sound scary, but don't rush and don't panic. There are lots of options out there for you to consider and every year more than 100,000 students find themselves in Clearing, so you are not alone!
