The BA Business Management with HRM including a Foundation Year course has been
designed to provide a very comprehensive grounding in the main areas of business but also allowing students to follow a particular pathway, such as Human Resource Management, to increase knowledge and experience associated with their field of specialism. The focus of the degree is to supply theoretical substance to core areas of
business but it also helps students develop analytical and decision-making skills.
The BA Business Management with HRM including Foundation Year degree (UCAS course code N6N2) is ideal for students who wish to gain a broad understanding of business while gaining an in-depth knowledge of Human Resource Management. This degree has a particular emphasis on applications of HRM in a strategic business context.
In Year 1, you will have the opportunity to study towards the KPA Level 3 Award in Employability alongside your degree. This Award is designed to build on what you learn in your degree in order to help you develop employability skills that are relevant for the workplace.
This degree runs on a 2 day timetable, designed to let you study with more flexibility and make the most out of your time outside the classroom.
After completion of Year 1, students have the option to specialise in either HRM, Economics, Marketing or International Business.
We also teach the BA Business Management with HRM as a 3 year degree.
